Paul Kronenberg

Paul Kronenberg is the co-founder of Braille Without Borders (BWB) and also the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs (IISE), where he focuses on the running and operational management of both organizations. He is also responsible for the infrastructure and construction activities of the BWB/IISE projects.

He has a technical background, graduating in 4 different fields of study – mechanical engineering, computer science, commercial technology and communication systems science. Mr Kronenberg has a keen interest in eco-friendly technologies and architecture.

He has receive many international awards and recognitions for his work including the Mother Theresa Award in 2007, received on behalf of BWB; the National Fundraising Award 2005 and the Albert Schweizer Award, awarded in 2002 by the Wolfgang von Goethe Association.

In 2003 he was knighted by the Queen of Holland with the Order of Oranje Nassau.
