Judith Hornok is an author and communications expert with a focus on the Middle East. For the past eight years she has been dividing her time between the GCC states and her native Vienna, passing on her experience and know-how of these growing markets through seminars, workshops and discussion forums.
Ms Hornok hosts and moderates international business panels for the Federal Econmic Chamber of Commerce in Austria and lectures worldwide on the subject of business in the Arabian Gulf countries, including at the European Forum Alpach and in USA’s Silicon Valley. Since 2009 she presents seminars and workshops on the subject of cultural understanding between “the Arab Countries and the West“.
Fostering cultural understanding between Arab and Western cultures is Ms. Hornok‘s mission in life. She sees it as the most powerful investment for the 21st century that institutions, goverment and companies. Through her work she has always been trying to expand the bridges between the Arab World and the rest of the world by writing about Arab people and lecturing about the topic at conferences.
Her most recent project is her book “Modern Arab Women – The New Generation of the United Arab Emirates“ – the first book of its kind to appear on the German speaking markets, where she interviews UAE ladies from various age-groups in the fields of politics, business, fashion, arts and sports about their careers, philosophies of life and plans for the future.
