Joël H. Vallat
Principal, Lycée Louis le Grand, France

He is the Principal of Lycée Louis le Grand, the top ranking high school (public school) in France. It has been considered as the school of excellence since 1563, when it opened as a Jesuit school.
M. Vallat has also been the Project Manager of LLG-ADEC since 2008, which manages Advanced Math and Science Pilot Classes in two model schools in Abu Dhabi.
Prior to his current roles he was the former Head of School of the French High School in New York City (LFNY), one of the top ranking French high schools in the world, and he was also President of the French Association of Headmasters of Preparatory Classes to Grandes Ecoles (APLCPGE ) from 1998 -2008.
M. Vallat has also helped initiate several “pedagogical projects” for Lycée Louis le Grand in different countries including United States, Singapore, Chile, Senegal, Bulgaria, Lebanon and Morocco, and also for the French Ministry of Education in China, Vietnam, India and Tunisia.
