Dr. Mohamed Baka

Dr Mohamed Baka is the technology advisor at the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) and also serves as chairman of the Emirates Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
He has more than 20 years experience in the field of technology management having led several international ICT programs as part of the European Strategic Program in Information Technology (ESPRIT).
Dr Baka’s academic experience includes tenure at Imperial College (London) and currently is a visiting scholar at Waterloo University in Canada. He is on the Board of CERT Technology Park, the Board of the Jonkoping Business School in Sweden and the Editorial Board of the “Springer” book series on technology management.
Dr Baka earned his Doctorate in computing from Bristol University in the UK and undertook a business education at Harvard Business School.
