Dr David Lewis-Hodgson

Dr David Lewis-Hodgson is a Chartered Psychologist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, the International Stress Management Association and the Institute of Directors.
He is Founder, Chairman and Director of Research at Mindlab Internationalan independent research laboratory based at the University of Sussex, England.
A neuropsychologist, his chief area of research is in the mental and physical effects of, and treatments for, stress & anxiety related problems across all ages. He has long been interested in using computer technology to enable individuals to control their own cognitive and physiological responses to stressful situations.
He is developing new approaches to the treatment of young offenders suffering from ADAD, by neuro-feedback. He has also worked with elite athletes to develop procedures for enhancing performance under stressful situations.
He began his academic career studying medicine, before switching to neuropsychology. He has a First Class Honours degree in psychology from the University of Westminster and a doctorate from the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Sussex. In addition to his scientific research David is a widely published author and broadcaster whose books cover such topics as cognitive enhancement and anxiety management.
