Annie Vigneron
Mathematics Department Head, LLG Abu Dhabi, France
Annie Vigneron is head of the mathematics department of the “LLG-Abu Dhabi” program that has been specifically designed for and adapted to the requirements of two “model schools” in Abu Dhabi since September 2008.
She also teaches mathematics at the Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris, one of the top-ranking high schools in France.
After graduating from “Pierre et Marie Curie University” of Paris with the Mathematics “Agrégation” (the highest level of teaching diploma in France) in 1977, she has taught in several French high schools where she acquired a wealth and diversity of experience both in her subject-matter and in her pedagogical skills applied to the teaching of mathematics.
Due to her vast experience she was chosen by the Lycée Louis le Grand, over several years, to be their ambassador for “LLG scientific excellence”. Her role is to export the pedagogical engineering operations within the field of mathematics and within the framework of international partnerships to places such as Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Puducherry.
